$2500 Grand Prize – Battle Of The Step Teams

Wayne Views is excited to have the opportunity to coordinate this event and would love if you and your team could be a part.
The competition will take place on Sunday, March 8, 2020 starting at noon and the location will be the Akron Main Library’s auditorium.
The entire event will be recorded from start to finish and posted to all social media platforms and Amazon Video as a short film.
To register you must adhere to the following terms and conditions:
Registration is due no later than Wednesday, February 5, 2020.
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $250.
- All teams must have someone check their team in by 11:30a the day of the event.
- Each team will hold a 12-15-minute performance time slot. (Points will be deducted for those who exceed or fall short of this time)
- Teams will be judged by a panel considering creativity, crowd response, appearance, routine and overall performance.
- Teams who earn the highest 3 scores will be awarded with a trophy/plaque, bragging rights and cash.

1st place – $2500 / 2nd place – $1000 / 3rd place – $250
Cash awards are subject to change but never decrease
Music, props, costumes and all other things giving creative control is encouraged. No profanity, gang relations or any acts of violence will be tolerated.
IMMEDIATE termination from competition for teams who interfere with the performance of those competing against.
