Akron Barber Stepping Up To Feed 5 Families In Need

Akron barber and community activist, Rodney Dennis is stepping up once again to help feed 5 families in need during this crisis brought on by the coronavirus. A lot of people are out of work, running out of food, not able to pay their bills, get basic necessities (like tissue, paper towels, cleaning products, hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray, etc.) or even go to doctor appointments that are non-life threatening.

Thankfully, our governor seems to be responding expeditiously to the outbreak, and he has put some guidelines in place to keep the spread of the virus to a minimum. He is even encouraging utility companies, landlords and other services to give their customers a break during this crisis.

People in the community are also stepping up and taking action to help where they can. I wanted to highlight Rodney Dennis because this is not the first time he has stepped up to take action in the community. He has sent me multiple messages asking if he could help people in need after reading one of our stories. He does much more than just talking about it… he truly steps up. He also just opened up a driving academy.
