Akron Judge Quarantined After Possible Exposure To Coronavirus In Italy

Akron, OH – A Summit County Judge (Judge Alison McCarty), has been quarantined after travelling to Italy to visit her family. Over this past weekend, Italy reported over 30 deaths from the deadly disease, coronavirus. The United States has issued a travel advisory, warning Americans against visiting the country.

“We have been informed that a Judge has been quarantined after traveling overseas. I will see that her courtroom is covered and will work with local and state officials in executing a plan moving forward to address concerns surrounding the coronavirus”

~ Administrative Judge Amy Corrigall Jones.

Again, the judge is only being quarantined for precautionary measures! She has not been diagnosed with the virus, they just want to make sure if she was exposed to it, she does not pass it to anybody else.
