Akron Man Gets 11 Years For Raping A Disabled Woman

Akron, OH – 34-year-old Jesse Williams of Akron, OH, has been sentenced to 11 years for raping a developmentally disabled woman.

The jury found him guilty of rape, burglary, tampering with evidence and attempted burglary charges on the 62-year-old victim. The incident happened back in December of 2018. Williams allegedly forced his way into her apartment (Alphada Place close to Chapel Hill area). When the victim would not give him any money, Williams drug her into a bedroom in her apartment and raped her.

The Summit County Prosecutor’s Office claims Jesse Williams tried to break into a nearby apartment approximately two weeks after the crime. Thank goodness he has been brought to justice! Personally, I believe the punishment for rape is not harsh enough!
