Akron Man Killed By Airborne Deer

Pennsylvania – An Akron man has lost his life due to a deer being hit on the opposite side of the highway and falling into his car.

Police officers responded to the accident on July 28, 2019, a little after 4 pm on Route 68 in Connoquessing Township, PA. A 53-yr-old Pennsylvania man hit the deer while he was traveling eastbound on the highway, the deer was flung into the air and hit the windshield of 73-yr-old driver, Michael Modjallal, who died from his injuries. His wife, 70-yr-old Lucia Modjallal, has been hospitalized due to her injuries.

The couple was reportedly traveling from Akron to see their daughter wo lives in Butler County. The crash is still under investigation.
