Breach In Equifax Data – You May Be Eligible For $125 Or More

I’ve always heard, it wasn’t a matter of “IF” your identity would be stolen, but “WHEN” it will be stolen. My identity was recently compromised through the CashApp App. Somebody in the state of Florida & New York was using my information to purchase food online. We really have to be careful when using credit cards online and even swiping them because scammers are able to use that information to hack your accounts and private information.

In September of 2017, Equifax announced it experienced a data breach, which impacted the personal information of approximately 147 million people. A federal court is considering a proposed class action settlement submitted on July 22, 2019, that, if approved by the Court, would resolve lawsuits brought by consumers after the data breach. Equifax denies any wrongdoing, and no judgment or finding of wrongdoing has been made.

If you go to their website, you can see if your information was compromised through Equifax’s website. If your information was compromised, you can file a claim and be eligible to receive $125 or more (based on if you had to spend time correcting your personal credit information or you had to come out of pocket for any credit monitoring systems due to your information being compromised.
