Car Flipped Into Metro Bus Akron, OH

Akron, OH – Police and other authorities are investigating an accident between a car and a Metro Bus on West Market, near Merriman Rd. (in the Highland Square area). The car was stuck between the bus and a pole.

The accident happened around 2:40 pm and three people were taken to the hospital, and there was at least one person in the car during the accident. The bus had 11 passengers on it at the time, and thankfully, only one person had injuries. Another bus picked up the passengers on the bus.

The bus driver will be placed on paid administrative leave while the accident is being investigated (as t is their protocol). They are relying on cameras from the bus and hopefully the streets to see what really happened.
