Cardi B never fails to keep it real, and her latest sit-down with Gayle King on CBS Mornings was no different. The Grammy-winning rapper shocked fans by confirming she’s expecting her fourth child—this time with her new man, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

After weeks of rumors, Cardi finally gave the world the truth. With her trademark mix of humor and honesty, she revealed the baby is due right before the start of her first arena tour, Little Miss Drama, set to kick off in February.
Balancing Motherhood and Stardom
Even with another baby on the way, Cardi isn’t slowing down. She told Gayle she feels “excited” and “powerful,” as she juggles motherhood, recording, and preparing to hit the stage.

“I feel like I’m in a good space. I’m working hard, I’m making new music, and I’m growing a whole baby at the same time,” Cardi said, flashing her signature smile.
Love and Support From Stefon Diggs
Cardi opened up about her relationship with Stefon, saying they share the same drive to be great in their fields. She praised him for giving her the stability she needs, especially when the pressure of fame gets heavy.

“He makes me feel safe and confident,” she told Gayle. “Like, two weeks ago I was literally having a panic attack about the album rollout. People can be so mean online, and sometimes it makes me doubt myself. But he always reminds me I can take over the world.”
This vulnerable moment shows a side of Cardi fans don’t always get to see. Despite her larger-than-life personality, she’s still human—navigating the same insecurities that come with putting your art out into the world.
The Album:
Am I The Drama?
Of course, Cardi couldn’t sit down without spilling a little tea about her highly-anticipated second album, Am I The Drama?, dropping September 19. She says the project feels “complete” and touches on everything she wanted to say.

“It’s not like anything out right now,” she teased. One track, Safe, is already being described as deeply personal.
And in true Cardi fashion, she found a way to turn her big news into a promo moment:
“Now y’all can buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers,” she joked. “Support me, ‘cause I’m a mother of four now!”

Healing, Growth, and Moving Forward
After her very public split from Offset, Cardi admitted she was hesitant to fall in love again. But she recalled Diggs telling her: “Let me heal you. Give me a chance to heal you.”

That trust led her here—embracing motherhood once again, ready to tour, and confident in her artistry. She also admitted she hasn’t told her parents yet about the pregnancy, laughing that she’s “scared” to break the news.
As always, Cardi brings the mix of raw truth, jokes, and unfiltered emotion that her fans love her for. Between a new album, a new baby, and a supportive new relationship, Cardi B is clearly stepping into her next chapter stronger than ever.

A Personal Note
I’ve always admired Cardi B because she’s so real and down to earth. She never pretends to be anything other than herself, and that’s something I truly respect.
Now, I’ll be honest—I don’t necessarily agree with her having a baby with her boyfriend before her divorce is officially finalized. The Bible speaks clearly about marriage and divorce, reminding us in verses like Matthew 19:6 that “what God has joined together, let no man separate.” I believe sometimes we need to think carefully about the spiritual weight of those commitments before moving on to something new.
I also think it’s important to consider how a divorce affects the children. Even if you’re unhappy for a season, sometimes working through those challenges can provide the stability kids need. That’s not to say you should stay in something that’s harmful, but I do believe children often carry the weight of broken homes more than parents realize.
Still, I commend Cardi for living in her truth and being honest with the world about where she is in life. At the end of the day, she looks happy, and happiness paired with growth is something we can all respect.
