Did Jacob Blake Actually Rape A 14-Year-Old Child?

It’s so sad we live in a world where people will try to justify a crime committed by the police by pulling up a victim’s criminal record.

Well that was the case for Jacob Blake, black man who was shot seven times in the back by a police officer, right in front of his three children. Jacob was left paralyzed from the waist down (according to his family), initially was still handcuffed to the hospital bed (which the cuffs have now been removed) and still had pending charges and a warrant.

Well the rhetoric behind him getting shot was he spent previous time in prison and had a warrant for domestic abuse and sexual assault against a 14-year-old child. Social media users even came up with a criminal record for Jacob S. Blake.

Well according to >>>snopes.com <<< the rumors are FALSE!!! The charges against the victim were actually for sexual assault against his ex-girlfriend and not a child. He was issued a warrant back in July, but he had not actually been convicted of the crime he was accused of.

It’s so sad because whenever a black person is killed or shot by police, the media will try to justify the killing/ shooting. It is not up to the police to be the judge and executor. The police are supposed to apprehend the suspect and let the justice system handle the rest. The police seriously need to go through some better training, or their budgets need to be cut and funds directed elsewhere to really help ALL people of the community.
