Did You Know You Can Rent The Goodyear Blimp Through Airbnb

The Goodyear Blimp has been around since 1955. You can usually catch a citing of the blimp during special sporting and entertainment events.

Well, Goodyear has listed one of their blimps on Airbnb!!! Yes you heard me right, for the first time ever, you can stay the night in one of the famous Goodyear blimps.

Beginning October 15, it will be listed on Airbnb for a short amount time and you’ll have the opportunity to book one of three nights it’ll be available, which will be Oct. 22, 23 or 24.

Just to clarify, you guys will not be soaring through the air during the duration of your stay. The Goodyear Blimp will be stationed in its hangar while you stay overnight. You and a guest will get to spend a night in the blimp’s gondola. You guys will not be able to leave the property for the entirety of your stay. However, there will be a set up for you guys at Wingfoot Lake, with a grill, a fire pit and corn hole for you guys to have some outdoors fun.

The stay in the Goodyear Blimp will run you about $150 per night. In addition to the stay, you and your guest will also receive complimentary tickets to watch the heated rivalry between Michigan and Notre Dame on October 26.
