hey.  since you guys are talking about DV tonight I thought it was the perfect time to share my story.

About 4 years ago I cheated on my then boyfriend with his cousin.  My boyfriend found out about it and I admitted it & told him the whole story.  We are still together and since then, we have got married and we have 2 kids.  But ever since I told him it was true he has been VERY abusive towards me.  Sometimes I know its wrong, but deep down I am just happy that he still loves me and wants to be with me.  I feel it is a small price to pay for what I did wrong.

Our last altercation was in front of one of my girl friends who has no idea this is happening.  I had to act like this was the 1st time he ever put his hands on me, but now she is threatening to get the police involved because my kids were right there too.  How do I get her off my back?  She is a child guidance counselor and she keeps telling me she is a mandated reporter if anything goes on around kids.

My name is Dre i heard the show last week on domestic violence and wanted to say something about what your cohost said. She said she was abused but didn’t say why. Women always talk about how they got abused but never say from what. If my woman talk out her neck like she crazy then I’m smacking her. If she don’t do what she supposed to do as my woman then she needs to be taught a lesson! I want to know why Giovanni was getting smacked? Sound like she has a smart ass mouth!
