Grow Your Real Hair Faster & Naturally

There is really no magical way for you to grow your hair over night, but if you have been following my story about my hair loss a few years back…  I do have some good tips for you guys to try to grow your hair faster, thicker and healthier.  BUT before I even get into the tips, please just tell me that you are drinking enough water!  Your hair will not grow properly if you do not have enough water intake!  Water is good for every part of your body, let’s just throw that out there.

  • In my opinion this is the #1 way to make your hair thicker, softer and longer!!!  I have been using this mask for about 3 months and I can truly see the difference in the length and the texture of my hair.  So here’s how you make the mask.  All you will need is one egg (rich in protein, fatty acids and Vitamin A,D & E, promotes growth and thickness, treats dry flaky scalp and tames frizzy hair), 2 tablespoons of organic olive oil (promotes growth, strengthens follicles and moisturizes hair) and  and a bag or shower cap (to cover your hair).  Mix the egg and oil together and then you massage the majority of it on your scalp for 5 minutes.  Rub the remainder of the mixture through your hair.  Twist your hair up then cover it with a bag for 30 minutes.  After the 30 minutes is up, rinse your hair out with COLD WATER, so you don’t cook the eggs in your hair (yes I’ve done that before).

  • This is probably the #2 thing to promote healthy hair.  Keep the heat out of your hair!!!  I don’t really need to go into deep detail about that.

  • Give yourself at-home scalp massages. Massaging your head can help stimulate the blood flow to your scalp, which helps nutrients get to your hair follicles more quickly (no matter if it is a dry scalp massage or one with some type of natural oils).

  • Get your hair trimmed…  & I know what you’re thinking, you’re trying to *avoid* chopping off any length. However, healthy hair grows faster and if you keep on letting split ends work their course, they can keep forking further up the strand, damaging hair and causing breakage.  But I have noticed that when I get my ends clipped, my hair actually looks a lot thicker.

  • Use conditioner and even do deep conditioning.  Do you ever notice how you usually run out of conditioner before shampoo?  Well shampooing is good but it actually strips your hair, while conditioner replenishes the nutrients that your hair needs to be healthy and shiny.
