How Would You Feel If Your State’s Senator OPENLY Tried Weed?

It looks like the legalization of medical marijuana is on the state ballot in Utah.  Nothing out of the ordinary about that, but what was interesting… was the fact that the state’s senator tried marijuana on camera.

Utah Senator, Jim Dabakis, thought it would be a good idea to actually try it before the debate.  He feels like people should “mellow out” about marijuana, and he also thinks that the people who are against it are the people who haven’t tried it.

Now don’t get me wrong…  Debakis didn’t go on camera smoking a blunt!  He tried some edibles, a gummy bear to be exact.  “I felt a little high, a little okay, but it didn’t change my life,” he explained. “Everybody, mellow out. Recognize that this is nothing to be afraid of. The people that are terrified by it seem to be the people who never tried it.”  Take a look at the video below & let’s talk about it.

So back to the question at hand…  How would you feel if your state’s senator openly tried marijuana? 

• Would it matter if they smoke it or eat it?
• Would it matter if it was legal in that state or not?
• Should the state’s senator have to hold themselves to a higher standard?
