Little Richard, founding father of rock’n roll, had died at the age of 87, and the cause of death is unknown.
Little Richard became famous for his flamboyant style and his hit songs in the 1950’s, “Tutti Frutti,” “Long Tall Sally” and “Good Golly Miss Molly.”
Little Richard said he drew his inspiration from artists like Mahalia Jackson, Roy Brown, Marion Williams, Ruth Brown… and then just threw it all together.
Little Richard truly believed he was the inventor of rock’n roll (and he said if he wasn’t then he didn’t the know the person who did).
Rest peacefully Little Richard, and condolences to his family.
