Prayers! John Witherspoon, Friday actor and veteran stand-up comedian, dies at 77

Prayers going out to his family! John was a wonderful spirit and full of joy. You may know him from stand up comedy. And one of his favorite character “pops” he played as Craigs father on the movie Friday.

It’s unclear of how the actor passed but we’ll keep you updated as information becomes available. John will be truly missed by family, friends as well as fans! We loved him in Wayne’s brothers, boomdocks . He was everyone’s favorite tv father.

It’s unclear if he had any projects in order. There was talks of another Friend movie coming out as well as a new season of the Boondocks. He will be missed and we thank you for your wonderful work towards the culture.
