President Donald Trump Grants Clemency For Kim Kardashian’s Aunt

Finally some good news to report about President Donald Trump.  Ear Kandy Radio recently reported on Kim Kardashian West meeting with Donald Trump at the White House to discuss granting clemency to her aunt Alice Marie Johnson who has been serving a life sentence since 1997 for non-violent charges of drug conspiracy and money laundering and she was also a 1st time offender (Read the previous article).  She wrote to President Barack Obama 3x while he was in office but was denied each time.

Well The President has commuted the sentence of Alice Marie Johnson.  “Ms. Johnson has accepted responsibility for her past behavior and has been a model prisoner over the past two decades. Despite receiving a life sentence, Alice worked hard to rehabilitate herself in prison, and act as a mentor to her fellow inmates,” the White House said in a statement Wednesday afternoon.  “While this Administration will always be very tough on crime, it believes that those who have paid their debt to society and worked hard to better themselves while in prison deserve a second chance,” the statement added.

I think this is definitely a step in the right direction in the War on Drugs.  People should  not be serving life sentences for drugs when murderers can get 10 years and come home.  Let’s talk about it.  What do you think about this move from the President?
