Ohio has really tried to stay ahead of the coronavirus pandemic by closing schools and businesses, and issuing “stay at home” orders for the entire state as early as March 23, 2020.
Rite Aid is stepping up to do their part to help with the coronavirus testing in the state of Ohio (& other parts of the country) as well. They have opened “self-swab nasal testing sites” and one happens to be right in Parma. They are open from 9-5 and can test up to 200 people a day. The testing actually takes place in their parking lot, and all the patients are instructed to stay in their cars.
Two more testing sites are opening at the Rite Aid stores in Akron and Youngstown, OH on Wednesday of this week. Below is a list of locations where they are doing the self-swab testing. An appointment is required to be tested. For more information, visit Riteaid.com.
