Shooting on East Side In Akron, OH Involved An Officer

August 10, 2018 – There was a shooting tonight on the east side in Akron, OH and the police have confirmed it was an officer involved in the shooting.  There are not too many details regarding who was shot nor the extent of their injuries, but it happened in the 700 block of Baird Street (close to the intersection of Baird St. and Hammel St.) close to 10:00 pm.  The suspect was taken to Akron City Hospital and is expected to survive.  he
