T.I. Felt Exploited By Kayne’s Sunday Church Service In Atlanta

As many of you may know, Kanye West has been having Sunday church services around the world, remaking classic R&B songs into “gospel” or “worship” music for the congregation. Recently, rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny attended Kanye’s Atlanta service, and from the looks of things, T.I. was utterly disgusted!

T.I. posted a picture of his wife Tiny, himself, 2 Chainz and his wife, Kesha Ward, who were sitting front row of Kanye’s service in Atlanta, with a look of disgust on his face.
“I cut my fellow-shipping short at Magic City to get 45 minutes of sleep to drive by here and be accosted and basically exploited,” T.I. told Killer Mike. “As soon as I sat down (mind you, I’m telling you they had already raised the offering) when we sat down there was a whole new agenda… It’s like they rung the red bell at the Player’s Club… You ain’t (about to) run no game on me. I will not be extorted.” ~ T.I.
The pastor of the church (Pastor Jamal Bryant) heard about T.I’s concerns and posted a rather lengthy response to the rapper.
T.I. responded to the pastor and told him that he had nothing but love and respect for the pastor and he would be open to meeting up somewhere down the line.
It’s sad, but this is one of the main reasons why people are starting to feel a certain type of way about churches nowadays. The pastors live a glamorous life, but the members of the congregation are still struggling to make ends meet. I have been to churches that have collected the offering three and four times, even sent the offering plate back around and told the people “they could do better than that.” Church leaders, you guys have to do better.
