The Kenneka Jenkins story will be turn into a “True Life” on MTV
In 2017 a beautiful young lady by the name of Keeneka Jenkins was murder. Jenkins’ death still remains a painful memory after her body was discovered in the freezer of the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center on September 10, 2017, in Rosemont, Illinois. Jenkins’ family and friends were in the throes of an intense 24 hour search once the teen went missing at a hotel birthday party with friends.
Every one on social media was trying to help solve this girls murder! People came up with all kind of crazy stories. People watched her friends live and thought it was a set up! You had people saying she was being raped during the live, while her friends cried silently.
Social media came up with so many different scenarios and we all felt horrible. Every one wanted justice for this young girl. Unfortunately years later and the family has yet to have closure.
According to reports the Police later concluded that Jenkins’ death by hypothermia was an accident, but many conspiracies contend that foul play was a factor in her death. Last year Jenkins’ family filed a $50 million wrongful death lawsuit against the hotel, naming the restaurant and a private security company as co-defendants, according to WLS.
And now MTV’s long-running “True Life” franchise will delve into the death of 19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins in a new spinoff series, True Life Crime. The series will be based of the unfortunate events of her death. I’ll keep you updated on when it’s set to air. Prayers for her family.
